Hi, I’m Suraj Sudhakar.

​I’m the founder of CoolCoach, a startup with a vision to #MakeNationsFit. I don’t remember exactly what led me to volunteer at orphanages after starting my first job as a programmer, but I do remember the moment I got serious about alleviating poverty. Two decades later, I’m still as committed as ever.

​Before diving into the social sector, I was on track to be a hacker by day, bartender by night. At 10, my love for history and mythology had me convinced I’d be an archaeologist. At 6, after impressing my uncle with my multiplication skills, he made me calculate how much daily interest I’d earn with ₹1 crore in the bank. He never told me how to make that money, but imagining all the toys I could buy made me dream of becoming a millionaire. Above all, I’m a rebel at heart.

I live in New Delhi with my wife, and our two sons.
